Overview
Performance reviews and appraisals are essential for effective learning and development. Appraisals help develop individuals, improve organizational performance, and feed into business planning.
The activity is a two-way process and both parties should be able to have a frank exchange of views on past performance, how appraisees can improve their performance, the support they need and their aspirations for their future career.
This course will develop the key skills needed to give reviews in a way that enhances employee motivation, increases productivity, and makes the review process stress-free. Emphasis is on people-to-people communication and attendees will learn how a coaching approach can be used to gain commitment from those they are reviewing.
