Team performance
can be
undermined
through
the inability
of team
members
to have
honest
conversations
with each
other.
Holding
back the
truth
can decrease
productivity,
break
down trust,
waste
time (and
money),
impede
creativity,
lead to
wrong
and costly
decisions
and develop
a ‘that’s
good enough’
culture.
In addition
it can
lead to
stress
and strained
relationships.
However,
by developing
the right
set of
skills
and attitudes
we can
have honest
conversations
without
damaging
working
relationships.
In fact,
with the
right
approach
we can
build
trust,
encourage
creativity
and develop
high performance.
These
skills
are not
exclusive
to a certain
group.
They are
not out
of anyone’s
reach.
They are,
in fact,
based
on human
assets
that we
all possess
and that
we all
have the
ability
to use.
You just
need to
be aware
of them
and practise
using
them.
This
workshop
is based
on well
established
principles
from NLP
(Neuro
Linguistic
Programming).
The personal
and interpersonal
communication
techniques
learned
will help
participants
develop
the ability
to have
open conversations
that promote
creativity
and achievement
rather
than fear
and reluctance. |
